I was sleeping on the pullout bed of my couch which is in front of my livingroom window.

In this dream, my mother—sensed, not seen—my brother B___ & my maternal grandmother are in the back of my childhood apartment, talking. [* NOTE: This segment may be missing material].
Segment 2
My mother's presence is in the apt. but I don't remember actually seeing her. We are in the livingroom of my current apartment. I'm standing I'm standing in front of the open window of the left, large double, and a woman who is supposed to be my mother is standing to the right side or hovering just outside it. I think she is inside. She transforms into a short, white, woman about four feet tall with a medium build. There's a serious expression on her face as she tells me, "It is time to go." I understand that the world is about to end, but I reply, "No, I'm not ready to go yet. I haven't learned enough, and I've just begun to study the bible." I have the impression that if I jump or drop from the window I will be able to fly. I look up at the sky and the clouds start to fall. I get an oppressive, heart-failing feeling of doom and wake up, heart pounding.

Sun was shining exactly as it had been in the dream when I awoke.

In retrospect I am still aware of how accurately this dream depicted my dedication to trying to figure out what the bible, mainly Genesis and the Old Testament, was really depicting, and about reincarnation and related things. By then I would have experienced at least a handful of strange events, a strange visitation during the night had occurred a year or so before and a second one was due to follow if it had not already. I don't know how much I knew about UFOs at that time, but the UFO-Alien dreams had not yet begun--would not for another 22 months.
I was quite adamant that I had more to learn, that I had only started studying. This dream like so many others I was to have, had a realistic undertone that makes it difficult for me to say "It was just a dream rehashing the events of the day". But it is very likely a comment on my current state of mind, minus the "end of the world" theme which was not a mindset at the time, yet it would not be the only time I dreamed that the world was coming to an end: There would be the black and white atomic bomb dream and the American race riot dream and the UFO invasion dreams.
I suppose this dream is a veiled memory of an abduction from my apartment, because it's possible to interpret the "falling" of the clouds is actually my body or spirit rising up towards the sky. So in a sense segment 2 may have been entirely astral in nature.
It is possible that the entire dream is what some people refer to as a screen memory, which might hint that I had been abducted and this is what was used to cover it up OR it could be how my subconscious mind leaked the abduction to me, perhaps hoping I'd get the message.
The transformation of my mother into another person could be part of the whole abduction screen memory process. Perhaps neither of people were my mother, maybe someone used her image as to not frighten me. I don't know what was going on. I may never truly know.
